Lisa Jean Molsick-Jones Biography

 Lisa Jean Molsick-Jones received her Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography from the world renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in 1981. Her experience as a professional photographer began with her work at a full service Santa Barbara advertising agency in 1982. She opened her own photographic studio in 1984. She currently works for a myriad of clients satisfying both their commercial and personal photographic needs.

Her photographs have been published in Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Allure and many other brochures, annual reports, catalogs newspapers & magazines. A wide variety of clients include: Tenet Healthcare, Safari Jewelry, McGhan Medical, RosesOverNite.com, Zad Catalog Sales, Creole Foods, Day One, City of Santa Maria, Santa Barbara County Vintners Association, numerous full service advertising agencies, local and regional banks, hospitals, national and local non-profit organizations, service organizations, real estate development firms, individual graphic artists, art directors, employee leasing firms, public relations consultants, events and individuals.

Her expertise encompasses all camera formats including 4" X 5" view cameras, 2 ¼ and 35mm. Her full digital service studio includes state of the art lighting capability, color and black & white film developing, printing of all types, scanning and photo CD transfer capability. Whether creating photographs per a layout or "on the spot" for an event, clients can feel confident their final printed piece will have a visual that shows their product, service or portrait at its best.

Lisa Jean has also been active in the local advertising community promoting its expansion and education. She served on the Board of Directors of the Santa Barbara Advertising Club (an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation) for five years. She chaired its Scholarship Committee—staging seminars to raise money for students pursuing advertising related careers.
